Getting Started: One day I saw a bracelet that inspired me to make jewelry. It was this one. I thought I could do that. I set out and went to several thrift stores for the remainder of the week. I spread the word to my family members about my new "venture". Surprisingly enough, I had a lot of support and had received a nice collection of goods from family and some great finds. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was having a great time putting it all together. I then bought a soldering gun and tried soldering - um, my soldering was crude and I am now embarressed for my early metal work. I still have a wonderful collection and am always on the lookout for great interesting items to add to it.
